WHY I MADE REM HEMISPHERES

REM HEMISPHERES is a short exploration game that was made for the Soup Jam 2026. I wanted to make dioramas of levels I have planned for a much larger game and thought this would a great opportunity to do so. So thank you to the hosts of Soup Jam and everyone who checks out the game! - Baer

PREMISE

----------------------------------------

In a neuroscience lab in Seattle a group of researchers have been developing a machine that allows people to travel into the dreams/subconscious of others. Their latest breakthrough has been allowing the user (person entering a dream) to freely explore the mindscapes of the subject (person whose subconscious is being explored). Join them as they test out the newest dream machine model and see what discoveries they make inside the mind of the lead researcher.

• A unique title screen on launch of the game chosen from the 12 worlds to explore in the game.
• Over 20 unique thoughts to discover in-between levels.
• 10 different personal logs to read through at the end of an in game day.
• Can you find Marianna (the woman in red) in every level? She's a bit shy so she will only show up once per day.

HOW TO PLAY

• Left click to progress through loading screens until you are in a 3D World.

• Explore the level and when you are done walk into a wall to progress to the next level.

• Repeat. 

• You will be sent back to the title screen when the game concludes after the final log.
